Escondido Real Estate Celebrates Independence DayEscondido real estate residents celebrated their Independence Day with family, great food, and fireworks. People gathered and enjoyed the beach, danced to live music and amazed with the fireworks displays. Thousands have flocked to the community events, and one of them is Bill Miller. Miller of Oceanside was grilling hamburgers and delicious hotdogs at the beach in Oceanside. He said that he planned to camp all day with his family and catch the fireworks displays farther up the skies of Del Mar Beach. There were no fireworks displays in Oceanside since 2008, but that doesn't stop Lee and Dorie Harmon for enjoying their Independence Day. They attended the Oceanside's beach bash which included a cup-stacking competition that the whole community enjoyed watching. The beach proved to be a popular spot for many who want to plunge in to the beach along with the summer heat in beaches that surrounds Escondido real estate. Jamie Moker, a meteorologist in the National Weather Service said that the temperatures were about 70 to 80 degrees along the coast. Sgt. Mason Turvey, Oceanside lifeguard said that the number of people who went to the beach nearly doubled compared from last year's July 4 event. He said it was mainly because the temperature last year was much lower compared to this year. He also said that despite the numbers of the crowds there were no reported incidents that happened. The activities of the celebration of Independence Day were mainly seen in the Bradley Park of San Marcos. Children enjoyed the inflatable jumpers and adults picnicked on the lawn waiting for the fireworks displays. Groups of friends and families gathered in Escondido's Grape Day Park. They laid out blankets and lawn chairs to claim their spots as they wait for the fireworks display. Escondido resident, Ramona Garcia brought her relatives to the park to celebrate the Independence Day for the 18th year in a row."Every year we bring a picnic, we bring the family, and we watch the fireworks," she said. "We like the atmosphere and the music. They play the music during the fireworks, and it's very sentimental." Escondido real estate resident Charlynn Jennings and her family and friends were enjoying a picnic dinner while waiting for the fireworks show. Jennings said, "It's about getting together to respect and honor our country and not forgetting why we're here, our freedom." People really enjoyed the endless fun and the glamour of the fireworks. Yes, it is all about "US" being free. Hope you had a blast! http://www.experienceescondido.com/00BAF2 Posted on July 05, 2011 10:26:31 by Glen.Brush
